Halloween is almost here, do you have your costume yet? And your hotel reservations? If not, may I suggest our lovely host establishment, Brass Key Guesthouse? Why, you ask, should I stay here on Halloween when there are so many other places? Because we are haunting it up, people!

Our very own David Flower, chief imaginer at David Flower Productions and one of the producers of Dead Silence, is hosting a new terrifying and blood-curdling Halloween experience. Right here. At the hotel and lounge. On Tuesday, October 31, Brass Key will be transformed into the Haunted Hotel, a crumbling remnant from a glorious bygone age. Come see what lurks around every corner. I get chills just imagining it! Flower has spent the past two years concocting all kinds of creepy Halloween magic around town. We’re psyched to have him here. It’s going to be one part party and two parts mayhem (just make sure to leave the kids at home, there is graphic violence and sexual content. You must be 21 or older to attend and we WILL be checking). Shipwreck will be open for drinking, carousing, and debauchery until midnight and we’ve unearthed a forgotten cocktail for guests to try.

Oh, and if you are concerned with how you will spend the rest of Halloween weekend, fear not. There are the parties, the masquerade balls, the last tea dances of the season, and the 3rd Annual Provincetown Halloween Gala on Saturday October 28 (this year’s theme is ‘Creatures of the Night’). On Friday and Saturday night, Dead Zombie Tag comes to Commercial Street. In this epic 1-hour game of tag, humans and zombies battle it out.
